Herbal Remedies - High Blood Pressure

Blood Pressure is the pressure level of blood in your arteries as your heart pumps blood around your body, your own blood pressure differs throughout the day, generally raising when exersizing or at times of stress and lowering when at rest, however if your blood pressure is constantly above140/90 then you are considered to have high blood pressure.

Having a cosistantly high blood pressure has some very serious health implications including an increased risk of heart attacks and strokes thus making it very important to have your blood pressure checked regularly.

It is widely regarded that the best way of lowering your blood pressure is through changes in lifestyle including :-

  • Regular exersize
  • Avoiding too much stress
  • Eating a balanced diet
  • Maintaining a healthy weight
  • Stopping smoking

As well as the above it is also believed that some herbal remedies can help in reducing high blood pressure.
