Crystal Therapy

Crystal therapy involves the use of crystals to promote the body's own healing. During a session the therapist will ask you about your medical history and why you have come for crystal therapy. You will be asked to lay or sit comfortably in your clothes. The therapist will encourage you to relax - sometimes with music. They will then talk you through what they will do. Usually crystals will be placed on you or around you. The crystal therapy session will usually last for about one hour. You will feel relaxed and sometimes people feel energised after the session.

Most people need a number of sessions and sometimes people have ongoing treatment to prevent ailments and to de-stress. Crystal therapy treats a number of ailments, including, headaches and migraines, emotional problems, PMT and menstrual cramps, aches and pains, stress, insomnia, and lethargy.

The, Internal College of Crystal Healing (ICCH) have a practitioner register with names of therapists who have studied with them. This is available from www.crystaltherapy.co.uk/register1.htm
